A WhatsApp number is connected to a workspace, and every incoming request becomes a task in the project you choose. A workspace can hold several numbers (sales and support separately, for instance).
- 1In the admin area go to “WhatsApp” → add a number: a name and the project the requests should land in.
- 2Open the QR code and scan it on the phone via WhatsApp → “Linked devices” → “Link a device”.
- 3Once the status reads “Connected” you are set — incoming messages start appearing in the system.
Sending the QR to someone else
If the phone is not yours, generate a shareable QR link and send it to whoever holds the number — they scan it themselves.
The shared QR link does not expire: anyone who gets hold of it can pair a device. Regenerate the token once scanning is done — the old link stops working immediately.
