There are several ways to create a task. They all produce the same thing; the difference is how many clicks it takes.
| Way | Where | Best when |
|---|---|---|
| “New task” button | Project board | You want to fill in assignee, due date and priority right away |
| Quick-add row | Above the board | Typing several tasks in a row — no dialog opens |
| “+” inside a section | Board column | The task should land in that section directly |
| “+ New” in the header | Any page | Capturing something quickly while away from the project |
Pressing n opens the quick-create dialog from anywhere.

Type a few words, press ✨ and the system turns it into a proper task: a clear name, a structured description and, if you want, a 3–7 step subtask list. You can also paste a long note (meeting minutes, for example) and have the actionable items extracted from it.
